Welcome to LMCU! Tell us a little about yourself.

Thank you, I’m so happy to be here! I have worked in the finance industry for over three decades and am passionate about improving people's lives through their finances. Before I started with Lake Michigan Credit Union in March, I built my career at Suncoast Credit Union for 25 years, finishing my tenure there as Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer. I am a Michigan native and spent half my life there, so coming to LMCU feels like coming home. Although we will miss living in the Sunshine State, my family looks forward to enjoying all the seasons in the Great Lakes State!

Why were you drawn to LMCU?

Its reputation of putting members first. I am an avid believer in the credit union movement and the ability of credit unions to truly make a difference in the lives of its members and communities. In all respects, Lake Michigan Credit Union works hard for its members, and its reputation of excellent service and value is proof of that. I’m so excited I get to be a part of it and carry on the legacy of LMCU.

What does serving members mean to you?

It means putting members needs and desires at the core of everything we do and every decision we make, providing exceptional experiences (in both big and little ways!). Members are both clients and owners of the credit union, and they trust us with some of the most important aspects of their lives. I take this responsibility very seriously.
