It was with a sense of gratitude and a touch of sorrow that I announced my retirement back in January of this year. After serving as President and CEO of LMCU for 23 years, I knew that my retirement would come someday. Now that it is here, I feel that mix of emotions even more strongly.
I want to thank our members for believing in the mission of LMCU and the products and services we offer. The relationships we have built are truly meaningful, and I will cherish them going forward.
Thank you to the incredible team I had the pleasure of working alongside. From the Board of Directors and senior leadership to branch and corporate staff, you all play an important role in LMCU’s success.
As my chapter at LMCU closes, I am confident that Julie Leonard, my successor, will serve the organization in the best way possible and continue to move it in the direction that most benefits our members. Thank you to all who impacted me on my journey, and to the staff and members who have made LMCU the place where you love to bank.

Hutt Scholarship winners will be announced in late April.
After receiving 902 scholarship submissions, the winners of this year’s Hutt Scholarship essay program have been selected. The 20 winners will each receive a $2,000 scholarship to put toward their higher education.

Shred old documents for free with LMCU Shred Days.
As online fraud becomes more and more of a concern, it’s easy to overlook the piles of physical papers you may have lying around. However, these stacks of sensitive papers are gold mines to identity thieves. The best way to minimize your risk of becoming a victim is to dispose of sensitive documents that you don’t need anymore. Bring your sensitive papers to any of our Shred Day events, and we’ll ensure that they are properly disposed of for free.
